AT&T DSL Letter


Hi I am a AT&T DSL customer and my downtown just got uverse internet (through the phone lines no fiber optics) and the whole point of uverse was to bring it to the country where people couldn’t get it. DSL central offices are being taken away one already has been my neighbors have DSL and now we are crawling at 40-50 kbps!! That’s dial-up speeds! A tech came to “fix” my DSL the poor man has done everything he can to get our DSL working. We have had DSL for 3 years going on 4 this month, anyway the tech put in a escalation order in October he said to call every week and so we did, then this December he said that the calls never went through!! So he called AT&T up and talked to them for an hour and tried to get them to bring it up to my house, but he said I don't know why they don't bring it up here. So then he placed another order he said it would take 3-5 business days to we waited till the 6th day. Then when we called they STILL said NO we can't give it to you. So I just want some help here, I USED to brag about my DSL I can't believe I did! The tech said DSL is GONE in my town I checked and sure enough it is! I used to get on the internet everyday now I only get on it Once a week sometimes once every 2 weeks it's ridiculous and I'm sick of it I NEED uverse now and I NEED 18 mbps you guys are lucky that I'm willing to pay $53 for 18 mbps!! I can't get cable where I live. PLEASE bring uverse up ASAP!!!!!!!!
